This past summer I was engrossed in learning. I was so fortunate to travel to Alaska and Japan. I learned so much from visiting Japan and Japan schools. Probably the thing I learned most is that children are children no matter where they come from, what language they speak or where they go to school. In our P4C circle- the students in Japan inquired many of the same inquiries that our students had asked. It seems that children are curious about the same things.

The habits of mind have really centered me with my present class. I will persist! We are trying to build relationships and be empathetic listeners and interdependent thinkers. Many MANY days- I need to MANAGE MY IMPULSIVITY.
