Blended Learning Consultant needed in Atlanta

Posted: July 30, 2013
Location: Atlanta, Georgia

The Blended Learning Consultant will play an integral role in implementing CFY’s Digital
Learning Program (DLP) in Atlanta. The Digital Learning Program supports our Partner
Schools to increase students’ ownership of their learning and propel student achievement, both
in and outside the classroom, and meet the challenges of the Common Core State Standards.
This, in turn, ensures student college readiness and success.
CFY’s programs include working directly with families and students in high-poverty
communities as well as partnering with teachers to help them leverage digital learning in their
classrooms at low-income traditional public schools and charter schools. Our DLP provides an
exciting opportunity for teachers to personalize instruction, make learning more engaging for
students, extend learning time outside the classroom, and better connect with and involve
parents in the learning process.
The Blended Learning Consultant will be the primary point of contact and will lead our
relationships with Partner Schools to achieve CFY outcomes. With support from the CFY
Program Manager, Family Involvement, the Blended Learning Consultant will lend expertise
and knowledge to work with school leaders to achieve the goals of increasing family
involvement in learning and student driven learning on our partner school campuses. The
Blended Learning Consultant will collaborate with schools to develop and implement a teacher
professional development plan to leverage digital learning and data-driven instruction to
increase student achievement and extend learning outside of the classroom. The CFY Blended
Learning Consultant will work with a cohort of teachers from multiple partner schools with an
emphasis on middle school math instruction.
